Conference Review: E-textiles -There's the Bling of the Thing
Abstract
Work by Leah Beuchley to encourage uptake of IT through e-textiles is exciting passion for STEM. Tackling the perennial problem of engaging women, this review reports a short weekend workshop held at Canterbury University, Christchurch, New Zealand. Delivered by Longwood University to Kiwi young women, and their teachers, it shows what is possible to ignite enthusiasm and shares resources to embed e-textiles in technology and arts and science curricula and promote STEM careers.Downloads
