Author Biography

Elizabeth Whitelegg

I am a senior lecurer in science education in the Science Faculty at the Open University. My teaching interests are in science education and science communication and I have contributed to masters courses in these areas. I have also initiated& and continue to lead the short course programme in science at the OU.&My research interests focus on pedagogical strategies to increase participation in science from a gender perspective.
