Author Biography

  • Elizabeth Whitelegg, The Open University
    Before retiring in 2013, I was a senior lecurer in science education in the Science Faculty at the Open University. My teaching interests&were in science education and science communication and I have contributed to masters courses in these areas. I have also initiated&the short course programme in science at the OU.&My research interests focus on pedagogical strategies to increase participation in science from a gender perspective.
